1. Hold [OFF] key down and press [ON] key four times.
2. With nothing on plate, display should indicate 4000.
3. If not, undo back cover to reveal long bank of switches with pots "S" & "Z".
4. Adjust "Z" pot until display shows 4000. Adjust switches in long bank if necessary.
5. Press [TARE]. Display shows zero.
6. Place full load on. Display should indicate 30000.
7. If not, adjust "S" pot until it does. Adjust switches in long bank if necessary.
8. Check zero again. Repeat if necessary.
