1. Press [RE-ZERO] & enter 8715 to enter span adjustment mode.
2. Zero count will appear in "QUANTITY" window.
3. If necessary, adjust zero count to 38,000 +/- 3,000 by pressing "+" or "-" keys.
4. Press [RE-ZERO] key to set zero. Count in [WEIGHT] window will be cleared to zero.
5. Place the capacity weight or any other calibration weight on the platform. SPAN counts will appear in the [WEIGHT] window.
6. If necessary, adjust the SPAN count to within 100-120% of the calibration weight by pressing the [PIECES] key to decrease the span counts or [ TARE ] to increase the span counts.
7. Remove the weight from the platform & press [ RE-ZERO ] key.
8. Replace the weight on the platform and if the span count is still incorrect return to step 6.
9. Enter the value of the calibration weight complete with decimal point then press the [ * ] key.
10. Dashes will appear in the window & auto-span is complete.
11. Remove the weight and press the [ MODE ] key to escape from span mode.
12. Sometimes the starting point is changed after the above operation. If so, repeat steps 1 - 4.
