1. Switch off.
2. Press and hold OFF key.
3. Quickly press ON/ZERO key three times then release both keys together. The timing is rather critical, so if it doesn’t work first time, try again.
4. Display shows [5-0 ], followed by [5-1-].
5. Place ½ capacity of scale on plate (i.e. 500gm for 1kg machine).
6. Display shows [5-2-].
7. Place full capacity on plate (i.e. 1kg).
8. Display shows [8888] then reverts to weighing mode showing [ 0].
