1. Switch off. Remove plate & top cover.
2. Remove calibration plug at left hand side of display.
3. Re-connect, switch on, display shows [E-CAL].
4. Step through to step 29 by repeatedly pressing àTß key.
5. At step 29 display shows [29 0000.0]. Make sure nothing is on the plate.
6. Enter by pressing 1st & 3rd key, display shows [--1--].
7. Allow to time out. Display shows [30 XXXX.X] ([30 1000.0] in case of 20kg scale).
8. Place relevant weight on scale (1kg in example above).
9. Enter by pressing 1st & 3rd key (an audible bleep will confirm it has been accepted).
10. Display shows a figure [XXXXXX]. Enter.
11. Display shows [31 XXXX.X]. ([31 6000.0] in the case of a 20kg scale).
12. Enter by pressing 1st & 3rd key (an audible bleep will confirm it has been accepted).
13. Display shows a figure [XXXXXX]. Enter.
14. Display shows [32 XXXX.X]. Place relevant weight on.
15. Enter by pressing 1st & 3rd key (an audible bleep will confirm it has been accepted).
16. Display shows [33 XXXX.X] - the full capacity of the scale. Place relevant weight on.
17. Enter by pressing 1st & 3rd key (an audible bleep will confirm it has been accepted).
18. Display shows a figure [XXXXXX]. Enter.
19. Press 1st & 2nd keys together. Display shows [E-CAL] then blanks out.
20. Disconnect. Replace calibration plug.
21. Reconnect. Switch on. Display shows [--0--] followed by [ 0.000kg ].
22. Scale is in weighing mode. Check that it weighs correctly through the range.
