1. Switch off.
2. Press and hold [MODE] key. Press [ON] key.
3. Release [MODE] key.
4. Display shows internal count, approximately 8,000, except for GSW-1500 which is approximately 12,000. To adjust, use trimmer pot on the A/D board which is on the bottom frame inside the scale.
5. Press [SET] key. The display shows the scale capacity [cXXXX].
6. Press [SET] key again. The display shows the graduation [d XX]. To change this value, press the [CHANGE] key.
7. Press [SET] key again. The display shows [L0000]. Remove everything from plate to set zero point and make sure scale is stable.
8. Press [SET] key again. The display shows [L XXX], which is the weight to be used for calibration. This can be altered by pressing the [CHANGE] key.
9. Place calibration weight on plate.
10. Press [SET] key again. If the weight is insufficient the scale will display [CALIb] and return to 8 to ask for a heavier calibration weight.
11. If the weight is acceptable the display will show [CALIb] then count down from 5 to 1 and display the calibrated weight value.
12. Calibration is complete and the scale will return to normal weighing mode.
