1. Switch off.
2. Press and hold [MODE] key. Press [ON] key.
3. Release [MODE] key.
4. Display shows internal count, approximately 5,000. To adjust, use trimmer pot on the A/D board which is on the bottom frame inside the scale.
5. Press [SET] key. The display shows the scale capacity [cXXXX].
6. Press [SET] key again. The display shows the graduation [d XX].
7. Press [SET] key again. The display shows [L0000]. Remove everything from plate to set zero point and make sure scale is stable.
8. Press [SET] key again. The display shows [L XXX], which is the weight to be used for calibration. This can be altered by pressing the [TOTAL/+] key.
9. Place calibration weight on plate.
10. Press [SET] key again. The scale will self-calibrate and return to the weighing mode.
