1. Switch off. Press and hold [SAMPLE] key. Press [ON] key. Release [SAMPLE] key.
2. Display shows internal count, approximately 8,000. To adjust, use trimmer pot VR1 through the left hand side of the housing. This pot is connected with three wires to the A/D converter board. The display will show [Count XXXXX].
3. Press [SET A/B] key. The display shows the scale capacity [C XX].
4. Press [SET A/B] key again. The display shows the graduation [d XX]. To change this value, press the [SAMPLE] key.
5. Press [SET A/B] key again. The display shows [L 000]. Remove everything from plate to set zero point and make sure scale is stable.
6. Press [SET A/B] key again. Display shows [L XXX], the weight to be used for calibration. This can be altered by pressing the [SAMPLE] key. Place calibration weight on plate.
7. Press [SET A/B] key again. If the weight is insufficient the scale will display [CALIb] and return to 7 to ask for a heavier calibration weight.
8. If the weight is acceptable the display will show [CALIb] then count down from 5 to 1 and display the calibrated weight value.
9. Calibration is complete and the scale will return to normal weighing mode.
